A roundup of my year and my personal favourite wedding photos

Firstly, the biggest thank you to all of my couples whose weddings I photographed in 2024. I started January over 75% booked and every year it still amazes me that I can do this as a full time job. Each year I manage to be fully booked with the most amazing couples and weddings I could possibly imagine and it really is an absolute pleasure. I always feel the pressure as the year starts, but so far enough of you love what I do and trust me to capture your day, so thank you for the trust and belief in my style.  

Award Winning Wedding Photography

2024 started with some lovely award news when I was named in the Top 10 photographers from 2023 by the international NineDots community. I was also blown away in December to find out I reached number 38 in the whole world by the highly regarded This Is Reportage awards. This Is Reportage are known for their extremely difficult awards focussing on documentary style wedding photography. A great year for awards but more importantly some of the best feedback from my couples, worth more than any award!

We just wanted to say thank you so much for photographing our wedding. The pictures speak a thousand words and capture the feeling of the day perfectly. Everyone who has seen the pictures has commented on how amazing they are

My Wedding Photography Style in 2024

I have stayed true to my documentary / candid / real life approach to weddings this year and I have picked photos that give a feeling, a moment or something that I just personally like, sometimes for reason I don’t even know! My style has always focused on the small moments as much as the big moments, capturing the real personalities of my couples and their guests. This style takes trust from my couples and I appreciate the access and openness I always receive, allowing me to capture unique images that reflect the wedding day as it was. Of course I still capture those lovely couples portraits, relaxed and stylish in a way that remains true to my ethos as a photographer.
