Black Horse Beamish Wedding

They really are fantastic, really captured the day. We are over the moon with the photos, our families have all commented on how brilliant they are.

Trish & Stewart

To say 2020 has been a strange year would be an understatement. My last wedding was in February at the stunning Middleton Lodge (you can see it here). Little did I know at the time, but that was my last wedding until this gorgeous wedding between Trish and Stewart. They chose The Black Horse in Beamish for their wedding day and I couldn’t have picked a nicer couple or better setting for first wedding under ‘COVID’ restrictions. Micro weddings for the win I say!

Love Wins

Trish and Stewart decided to go ahead with their wedding on the original date regardless of everything going on and knew the most important thing for them was to be married and celebrate in whatever way they could. They opted for a ‘micro wedding’ (less guests but not less fun or love). I was a little nervous and wasn’t sure exactly how everything would work. Of course I followed all the safety measures and had my rather fetching mask with me the whole day but this was still different to what I was used to. Luckily everyone was amazing and the day felt just as much a loved filled day as any other wedding.

For those deciding to celebrate with a ‘micro’ or elopement style wedding just know that they are really special. You still spend the day with your closest people and celebrate your love. Check out a few of the images below.

A huge thanks to all the staff at The Black Horse for their help keeping everybody safe on the day and of course Trish and Stewart for having me along.
