It has been a long time since I have been up to Slaley Hall, but this Slaley Hall wedding was worth the wait. I met Laura and Hannah well over a year ago when they first booked me and I couldn’t wait for this wedding. Northumberland has some amazing venues, it is always great to head north and I love Slaley Hall.
Laura and Hannah planned the whole day to take place at the hotel and both got ready in separate rooms of the venue. It was so fun to capture and Laura and Hannah both looked stunning. The ceremony took place at Slaley Hall and it was full of laughs and some tears. I love the emotion that the couple and guests showed during the ceremony. We had some lovely light pouring in from the large french doors during the ceremony. Once it was all done everyone headed outside for some fantastic confetti including canons!

There were 5 speeches in total and they were all excellent. Again we saw tears and laughter throughout. As a documentary wedding photographer I am always looking to capture the emotions on the day as they happen naturally. The speeches are a fantastic time for that.
The wedding reception was so much fun, with a photo booth, Polaroid cameras, balloons and even a glitter station! Guests got to enjoy marshmallow toasting and sparklers before the dance floor went crazy for classic 2000s dance hits like Cascada. Safe to say I absolutely loved it.
It was a great way to end the wedding and I really enjoyed my end to March with another amazing wedding.
I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Slaley Hall for their support on the day and of course all the suppliers who made the day for Laura and Hannah. Finally a massive thank you to the couple, Laura and Hannah. An amazing couple and awesome wedding which was a joy to capture. Congratulations again.
