When guests from one of my favourite ever weddings got in touch to enquire about their own wedding, I already knew it would be amazing. It’s the best feeling when a past couple loved what I did so much that they recommend me to friends and family.

The Woodman Inn at Thunderbridge is a 18th century inn, located in a picturesque woodland on the edge of the South Pennines in Yorkshire. The Woodman Inn boasts two rooms for weddings, the Country Room and the location for Amy & James’s wedding, the Garden Room. The Garden Room is a marquee style structure located in the secluded and private woodland, hidden away from the main pub area. With room for up to 150 guests there is plenty of space for your ceremony and party.

On site you will also find three beautifully renovated cottages, just a short walk from the venue. This is where Amy and her man of honour, Mum and bridesmaids got ready on the morning.

The day was a lot of fun, featuring beer pong, an epic dessert tower and a lot of dancing.
